bluenotes contributor and guest editor Catherine Fox has been recognised with a Walkley Award, one of the highest honours in Australian journalism.
Fox - who earlier this year published her book Stop Fixing Women – was named the winner of the Women's Leadership in Media gong as part of the mid-year Walkley Foundation awards.
The award recognised her book as well as her work with a number of media organisations.
Stop Fixing Women was launched in May at an event hosted by bluenotes. You can watch highlights of the evening in the video below.
At the event Fox said blaming women for their own marginalisation is illogical, irritating and sends workplaces and their businesses backwards.
Fox joins bluenotes colleagues international correspondent Tony Walker and managing editor Andrew Cornell as Walkley winners.
