Around mid-March you probably would have started to notice photos of tonsorial atrocities: DIY haircuts being featured in social media feeds.

Buzz cuts, mullets, side stripes, bobs, lobs, intentionally “choppy” bangs…….and the return of the highly coveted 1980s bowl cut.

With the COVID-19 crisis forcing many hairdressing businesses to close their doors during lockdown, people are taking matters (or the scissors/clippers in this particular case) into their own hands.
