In recent years, there have been notable gains in increasing the representation of women in leadership roles, reducing the gender pay gap and promoting workplace diversity and inclusion.

We've seen more women in CEO positions and on boards of directors, more companies implementing diversity and inclusion programs, and more recognition of the importance of addressing unconscious biases in hiring and promotion.

But the fight is far from over. There is still much work to be done to achieve true gender equity in the workforce. At bluenotes we are committed to telling these stories of ambition, success and the ongoing challenge as we look ahead to International Women's Day. We explore the strides made in increasing gender diversity and efforts needed to continue to create a more inclusive and diverse workforce. And a community which properly values the diversity it contains.

The momentum is building. Let’s keep fighting the good – and valuable - fight and continue to focus on the ongoing work necessary to create a more equitable and inclusive world.
